Good Friday.
For Christians, the day marks the greatest sacrifice in human history. A day when one man gave his life so that everyone else could have eternal life with God.
Regardless of your personal beliefs concerning the story and its interpretation, whether it’s true, a hoax or simply a metaphor, the core truth of sacrifice for others is universal and unending. Particularly in this time, a time when so many are suffering and feel the crushing weight of economic uncertainty.
Contact your friends and family members. If you’re able, offer to help them. Send money. Make it a gift, not a loan. Even if they don’t take you up on it, they’ll at least know someone cares and there is a place to turn.
Show love and mercy.
Peace.
